Recreation or fun is the expenditure of time in a manner designed for therapeutic refreshment of one's body or mind.

If you take enjoyment in a leisurely walk in the park, a dip in the pool, playing softball with friends or a day of golf; Kensington has wonderful programs and facilities that can meet your recreational needs.

Confederation Trail

The Confederation Trail (www.tourismpei.com/pei-trails) was built on deserted railway tracks in 1989 and stretches from one end of Prince Edward Island to the other. It takes you on a journey through scenic woodlands, through charming communities with picturesque views. The Confederation Trail continues through the heart of Kensington and connects to neighboring communities, enabling you to bike, walk, jog or snowmobile.

Snowmobiles take ownership of the trails during the winter months and have the privilege of enjoying a safe passage while traveling across the Island. Trail passes can be purchased through the Prince Edward Island Snow Mobile Association (http://www.peisa.ca/) .
