A Chamber of Commerce or Board of Trade is a non-profit organization intended to meet community and area needs. It is a voluntary organization made up of individuals and businesses that work jointly to enhance the business interests of a community.

Who funds the Chamber?
The Kensington & Area Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization and is funded by the membership and the assistance of fundraising activities.
Who runs the Chamber?
A Board of Directors, elected by the Chamber of Commerce's members, governs the organization. The Board serves as volunteers, sets the policies and goals of the organization. It is the responsibility of the Executive Director or Manager to ensure these policies and goals are met.
Does the Chamber distribute or sell its membership list?
The Kensington & Area Chamber of Commerce does not sell its membership in electronic format. However, our member directory is available on our website.
I want to make changes to (or) join the Group Insurance Plan. How do I do this?
The Group Health plan is managed through Chambers of Commerce Group Insurance. Please contact them at 800-665-3365 to make changes to your policy. Please note that only Chamber member companies are eligible to join the Group Health plan.
